Overview Kuzuko is a Private Game Reserve and Five Star Lodge in the Eastern Cape. Kuzuko was established as a social enterprise with the aim of creating jobs in an area of high unemployment whilst also rewilding and restoring the land. Social upliftment is a key part of the Kuzuko’s mission statement and Kuzuko is looking to employ team members that share this vision. Kuzuko is looking for an experienced Duty Manager to assist overtime daily operations. This role is ideal for an individual who is guest‑centric and can deliver 5‑star service that our guests expect. Key Responsibilities Act as the primary point of contact and manager on duty, overseeing lodge operations. Deliver exceptional guest service. Monitor and uphold the highest standard of cleanliness, maintenance and presentation across the property. Handle guest billing, check‑ins/check‑outs, and other operational processes where required. Ensure full compliance within the lodge. Coordinate with all departments to anticipate and exceed guest needs. Manage emergency situations calmly and effectively. Requirements Minimum of 3‑5 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in a 5‑star property. Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to manage and inspire teams. Experience of Front Office operation. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Professional demeanor and a genuine passion for hospitality. Experience working with Semper or similar POS and PMS system. Ability to work flexible hours, including evening, weekends and public holidays. Valid South African driver’s license is advantageous.
