Job Overview To effectively and efficiently manage the key performance outputs of the General Distributor and Dealer Network in order to ensure optimal FUSO new truck sales performance and attainment of key strategic deliverables as defined by FUSO and aligned to established objectives and KPI's. Fulfil a consultative role with the respective general distributor and dealers in steering the FUSO trucks sales revenue generating activities in full compliance with the Company’s Integrity and Anti‑Bribery Codes, Conflict of Interest Policy, and all applicable Safety, Health, Environment, Risk and Quality (SHERQ) standards. Key Responsibilities and Duties Drive both group, retail and KAM sales performance across the network, ensuring GD's consistently meet or exceed sales targets. Follow the required internal processes to obtain the relevant support to assist dealers to secure deals. Stock Management Effectively manage dealer and GD stock levels by closely monitoring WIP reports, showroom compliance, stock replenishment, aging inventory, and overall model mix across the network. Ensure alignment with stipulated targets and directives set by FUSO management. Oversee pipeline and stock controls in accordance with the new distribution policy. Ensure all GD's place orders in line with their allocated schedules. Customer & Negotiation Support Assist general distributors in direct customer negotiations to represent the manufacturer effectively and enhance FUSO’s presence, credibility, and customer relationships. Drive and steer the performance of General Distributors (GDs) in alignment with prescribed processes and FUSO standards. Develop key action plans in collaboration with GDs to enhance performance. Ensure that all action plans are clearly documented, monitored, and tracked to completion. Ensure thorough preparation for General Distributor performance reviews and routine visits. Maintain accurate records of meeting minutes, discussions, and action points. Present consolidated insights and updates to management as required. Provide timely and efficient resolution of GD enquiries and requests. Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to meet GD's needs and uphold service standards. Prepare and deliver daily, weekly, and monthly reports as required, including the coordination and oversight of the Daily Action Centre. Key Account Sales and Relationship Management Demonstrate the capability to consistently achieve assigned sales volume targets through proactive account management and strategic customer engagement. Initiate and effectively manage a structured programme of customer visits to key operators. Ensure that each customer is guided on how to optimise downstream revenue opportunities across all sales activities. Sales Activity Monitoring Conduct regular reviews of the sales activity within each key account to maintain a current and accurate understanding of customer purchasing behaviour. Leverage these insights to drive further downstream revenue growth and maximise opportunities within each operation. Act as the primary interface between key account customers/operators and the dealer network. Ensure seamless coordination so that the dealer and FUSO teams provide effective, timely support for the customer’s fleet. Service Excellence & CSI Management Ensure that all FUSO commercial requirements and customer service (CSI) expectations are understood and managed effectively, strengthening customer satisfaction and long-term loyalty Compliance Adhere to the Company's compliance policy when dealing with suppliers/customers, by updating items such as the gift and entertainment registers in adherence to the Integrity code and all other company policies/procedures. Qualifications Matric (Grade 12) plus BCom / National Diploma in Sales / Commerce-related qualification (NQF 6 / M+3) or equivalent. Experience 3–5 years’ experience in a specialised field. Special Knowledge SAP, Microsoft Powerpoint, Word, Excel. Communications, analytical and management skills. Sales Processes and systems. Relationship management, sales and negotiation skills.
