Job Description The Senior Tenders Coordinator is responsible for the accurate coordination, administration, and submission of civil engineering tenders in compliance with South African public and private sector procurement requirements. The role supports the estimating and management teams to ensure timely, compliant, and competitive tender submissions.What you will do: Lead end‑to‑end tender management: plan, coordinate, and deliver compliant technical, commercial, and returnable submissions. Retain and oversee core administration: opportunity monitoring (National Treasury eTender, CIDB i‑Tender, municipal/SOE portals), document registration, tender registers, clarification/site meetings, and formal submissions (physical/electronic). Interpret and manage compliance: CIDB, CSD, B‑BBEE, Tax PIN, COID, municipal rates and regional/donor frameworks (World Bank, AfDB, EU, UN). Coordinate internal technical teams and external partners/JVs across South & East Africa; obtain pricing and partner documentation. Elevate bid quality: templates, content libraries, formatting, brand consistency, and lessons‑learned for continuous improvement. Support post‑tender clarifications, interviews, and award processes. Qualifications Required Qualifications & Experience: Matric/Grade 12 essential; Relevant tertiary qualification(s) in administration, construction management, or similar (advantageous) 7–10 years in tender coordination/bids in engineering, construction, or infrastructure Public sector tendering experience in South Africa Donor-funded procurement (World Bank, AfDB, EU, UN) Experience with GCC/NEC/JBCC/FIDIC; pricing collaboration with estimating Experience with SANRAL, municipal infrastructure, water and sanitation, or roads projects (advantageous) Familiarity with JBCC, GCC, or NEC contract environments (advantageous) The ideal candidate will have: Excellent organisational and time-management skills Strong attention to detail and compliance Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines Professional communication and coordination skills Ability to manage multiple tenders simultaneously Due to the volume of applications, regrettably correspondence will only be entered into with short listed candidates #J-18808-Ljbffr
