Role Overview The Financial Operations Process Manager is responsible for designing, optimizing, and overseeing financial processes that drive efficiency, accuracy, and scalability across the organization. This role sits at the intersection of finance, operations, systems, and emerging technologies, ensuring that financial workflows are streamlined, compliant, and aligned with business objectives. A key focus of the role is leveraging Intelligent Automation (IA) and AI-driven solutions, alongside SAP, to modernize financial operations, enhance decision-making, and unlock efficiency at scale. The role also acts as a critical interface between the local agency teams and the Shared Services Centre (SSC) in India, ensuring alignment, service quality, and effective process execution across geographies. Key Responsibilities Lead the review, design, and continuous improvement of financial operations processes (e.g., payments, collections, reconciliations, reporting) Identify inefficiencies and implement process enhancements to improve accuracy, turnaround time, and cost-effectiveness Drive the identification, evaluation, and implementation of AI and Intelligent Automation (IA) solutions within financial operations, integrated with SAP Partner with technology and data teams to embed automation, machine learning, and AI tools into finance workflows and SAP processes Act as the primary liaison between local finance/agency teams and the Shared Services Centre (SSC) in India, ensuring clear communication, alignment of expectations, and high-quality service delivery Translate business requirements from local teams into standardized processes executed by the SSC Monitor and manage SSC performance against agreed service levels, addressing gaps and driving continuous improvement Resolve escalations and act as a buffer to ensure smooth interaction between stakeholders and the SSC Collaborate with finance, commercial, and operational teams to align processes with business needs Drive standardization and documentation of financial workflows and controls Oversee the implementation, optimization, and continuous improvement of SAP financial modules and processes Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and audit standards Manage and monitor key financial operational metrics and service levels Lead or support transformation initiatives, including automation, digitization, and AI adoption projects within SAP environments Provide leadership and guidance to team members and cross-functional stakeholders Key Skills & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field (CA(SA), CIMA, or equivalent is advantageous) 5–8+ years of experience in financial operations, process improvement, or finance transformation roles Strong understanding of end-to-end finance processes (O2C, P2P, R2R) Experience working with or managing Shared Services environments or offshore teams Experience driving process improvements and operational efficiencies Exposure to or experience with AI, Intelligent Automation (IA), RPA, or data‑driven tools in a finance environment Strong experience working with SAP (e.g., S/4HANA or ECC), including financial modules and process integration Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail Ability to manage multiple stakeholders across regions and cultures Experience in project management and change management Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Key Competencies Process‑driven mindset with a focus on continuous improvement Strong interest in leveraging technology, AI, and automation within SAP environments Strong stakeholder management and cross‑cultural collaboration skills Ability to act as an effective bridge between business teams and shared services High level of accountability and ownership Ability to operate in a fast‑paced, evolving environment Strategic thinking with hands‑on execution capability Key KPIs / Success Metrics Reduction in process cycle times (e.g., billing, collections, close cycles) Improvement in process accuracy and reduction in errors/rework Shared Services performance against SLAs and reduction in escalations Adoption and impact of AI and automation solutions within SAP (e.g., % of processes automated) Efficiency gains and cost savings driven through IA/AI initiatives Compliance and audit outcomes Stakeholder satisfaction across local teams and SSC #J-18808-Ljbffr
