Qualifications Engineering background and Afrikaans speaking / advantage in African language. Matric/ND in Sales & Mkt or Food Tech. 2‑4 years of experience selling raw materials/ingredients to the food, beverage, pharma manufacturing or flavour supply industries. MS Office and Pastel proficiency. Professional appearance and excellent selling, customer‑relationship, communication, interpersonal, administrative, time‑management skills. Business‑minded, dynamic, proactive, well‑spoken, results‑ and goal‑driven, team‑oriented, resilient, self‑motivated. Ability to multi‑task, meet deadlines, work under pressure, and work independently. Willingness to travel nationally and report to Directors. Valid driver’s licence, own reliable vehicle, and contactable references. Core Responsibilities Identify new business opportunities and grow customer base in South Africa and Africa. Maintain existing clients, develop and maintain strong relationships with the existing client base. Present a range of options available to clients and drive sales. Provide excellent service, achieving and exceeding sales targets. Support the team of proven professionals (taste technicians, production technologists) in developing/master unique flavours and ingredients that meet client specifications. Handle after‑sales service/client queries professionally. Submit weekly sales and client‑visit reports and participate in regular sales meetings.
