This is a fantastic opportunity for a Compliance Manager to lead the day-to-day execution of regulatory compliance processes for one of South Africa’s leading investment management and wealth platforms. This Compliance Manager role is Cape Town-based. THE ROLE As Compliance Manager, you will lead the operational execution of compliance activities across the business, ensuring regulatory requirements are effectively embedded into business processes. Reporting into the Head of Compliance, you will oversee compliance monitoring activities, manage regulatory risk, and drive the implementation of controls across the organisation. Your role will include overseeing AML, CFT, FICA, CISCA, FAIS, POPIA, PPR, and Insurance Act compliance processes, including customer due diligence, enhanced due diligence, transaction monitoring, and regulatory reporting. You will manage compliance incidents and remediation plans, identify gaps in controls, support policy and framework development, and provide practical compliance guidance to business stakeholders. You will also lead and develop a team of compliance professionals, oversee compliance training initiatives across the organisation, and support governance reporting for Audit & Risk Committees and senior leadership structures. REQUIREMENTS Relevant degree in Law, Compliance, Risk, Finance, or similar 5+ years’ compliance experience (with management exposure) within financial services, specifically investment/wealth/asset management platform companies Strong AML, FICA, and CISCA implementation experience Working knowledge of FAIS, POPIA, PPR, and the Insurance Act Experience managing or mentoring compliance teams Compliance monitoring and regulatory reporting experience #J-18808-Ljbffr
