This position is responsible to plan, direct and coordinate professional electrical designs as part of the complete design process to meet client specific requirements. To plan and align designs to business strategies and objectives to ensure effective customer service. To align designs with industry best practices to ensure effective cost management and adherence to safety regulations. To ensure continuous improvements on the designs for optimal and cost-effective implementation. To mentor and coach, the CAD operators and junior engineers in training to ensure optimal utilisation and development of these human resources. To prepare the scope of work, specifications, bill of quantities and tender documents in line with the client's needs and requirements. MCC design IEC61439 knowledge. Lighting and small power design. Cable racking design and cable sizing. Min requirements: Degree/ Technical Diploma Must have operational and design experience (inclusive of relevant design programme exposure) Exposure to mining industry International electrical and instrumentation specifications and standards SANS standards, MHS Act & OHS Act Knowledge of PLC and Scada systems Mining and industrial plant electrical design experience #J-18808-Ljbffr
