Overview This role is focused on building and scaling a mission-critical internal platform used to manage complex, multi-site construction projects across global data centre and semiconductor programmes. Success in this position means delivering stable, high-performance web applications that enable large teams (including schedulers, engineers, and project managers) to coordinate effectively in real time. The successful candidate will bring structure to complex workflows, improve system usability, and ensure seamless data flow across platforms. The role sits within a global Engineering Centre of Excellence and plays a key part in enabling efficient project execution across all active sites. It bridges software engineering, operations, and project delivery. Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack web applications using .NET Core and Blazor Server Translate complex operational and user requirements into intuitive, high-performing system features Build and optimise data-driven interfaces for scheduling, task management, and team coordination Develop and manage APIs, ensuring secure and efficient system integrations Own database design and performance, including Entity Framework Core, T-SQL, and query optimisation Implement real-time system updates using SignalR to support live operational environments Manage deployments and system performance within IIS and Windows Server environments Lead source control, CI/CD pipelines, and release processes using Azure DevOps and Git Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including analytics, project management, and on-site stakeholders Mentor team members and contribute to coding standards, reviews, and best practices Qualifications 10+ years of professional software development experience Strong proficiency in C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET Core, and Blazor Server Advanced SQL Server experience, including stored procedures, functions, and performance tuning Proven experience building complex, data-heavy web applications (e.g., scheduling or workflow systems) Experience with Entity Framework Core in production environments Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Git, and CI/CD practices Experience with real-time technologies such as SignalR Advantageous Exposure to Syncfusion or similar component libraries Experience integrating with Power BI or analytics platforms Background in construction, infrastructure, or large-scale enterprise systems Education Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field preferred Equivalent practical experience will be considered Other Requirements Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams Experience working remotely with international teams (US time zone overlap) #J-18808-Ljbffr
