Job Title PDI Technician Details Salary: £13.90 per hour basic + BonusLocation: DerbyContract Type: PermanentHours: 42.5 hours, 5 days out 7 on a rota - weekend working required. Responsibilities Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs to manufacturer standards. Inspect vehicles and diagnose faults to meet Motorpoint’s quality benchmarks. Follow the PDI process, including conducting road tests, to ensure readiness for handover. Complete documentation accurately and support vehicle movements as needed. Maintain a clean, safe workspace and collaborate with colleagues across departments. Champion health and safety and contribute to a positive team culture. Carry out any other ad‑hoc tasks as required. Qualifications Full UK driving licence. Minimum Level 2 motor trade qualification. EV qualification desirable; training provided if needed. Strong attention to detail and ability to spot issues during inspections. Ability to work accurately under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Team player who can also work independently. Motivation to meet performance goals and uphold quality standards. Organised and efficient in managing workload and priorities. Commitment to safety and maintaining a tidy workspace.
