Requirements Bachelor of Science Degree Business Management Qualification (advantageous) Min 10 years’ Management experience. 5-8 years’ experience in a similar position within mining industry. Duties and Responsibilities Determine and allocate resources accordingly. Communicate the business objectives to the team, and closely monitor performance against these objectives. Take accountability for continuous improvement of the region. Consolidate reporting requirements for the region. Ensure that the invoicing is processed timeously. Manage budgets and improve revenue within the region. Monitor the work area to ensure that a safe environment is maintained, and all safety rules are followed. Manage the region’s financial performance to assure that a quality product is provided at the least possible cost. Exercise judgment based on data and logic within set parameters and guidelines. Anticipate a broad range of problems and develop solutions. Implement a BBBEE strategy to meet company targets.
