Job Purpose The Territory Manager will be responsible for the end-to-end operational, financial, and commercial performance of multiple service stations. This includes driving profitability, ensuring operational excellence, maintaining brand standards, and leading site-level management teams to achieve business objectives.Key Responsibilities - Manage and optimise performance across multiple fuel service stations- Drive operational efficiency, compliance, and service excellence across sites- Oversee forecourt, convenience store, and add-on retail/QSR operations- Analyse financial performance including budgets, margins, and profitability- Implement cost control initiatives and identify revenue growth opportunities- Lead and support site managers and operational teams- Ensure compliance with HSE, safety, and regulatory requirements- Manage customer service standards and resolve operational escalations- Oversee maintenance and asset management across sites- Manage labour structures, staff performance, and workplace discipline- Develop and maintain supplier and stakeholder relationshipsMinimum Requirements - Matric (Grade 12) essential- Minimum 25 years senior management experience (Operations / Area / Regional role)- Proven experience in fuel retail / service station environment- Multi-site management experience advantageous- Strong financial acumen (P&L, budgets, margins, cost control)- Experience in convenience retail and/or QSR operations- Strong understanding of labour relations and staff management- Valid drivers licence and own reliable transport- Willingness to travel extensivelyCompetencies - Strong operational leadership- Commercial and financial acumen- Problem-solving and decision-making ability- High emotional intelligence and resilience- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
