Job Summary We are looking for a motivated, presentable and friendly DevOps Engineer with deep hands-on experience across Linux, containerisation, networking/security, identity integration, and Azure/M365 environments to join our IT team. You will need a resilient, problem-solving mindset and a friendly customer-focused attitude. You will work closely with the Head of Technology to deliver an excellent service. Key Responsibilities and Duties Design, implement, and support secure, scalable infrastructure and deployment workflows Administer Linux-based systems and Docker/container environments Manage networking and firewalling, including VLANs, firewall rules, and WireGuard VPNs Support identity and access integrations using SAML and OIDC Manage and support Azure Portal / Azure cloud, Azure AD, Microsoft 365, and Intune Configure and maintain NGINX reverse proxy/load-balancing setups Own monitoring and alerting using Zabbix Troubleshoot infrastructure, connectivity, authentication, and performance issues Work with development and IT teams to improve reliability, security, and automation Document systems, standards, and operational procedures Qualifications and Experience Relevant IT Degree, BSC Computer Science 5+ years in DevOps / infrastructure / systems engineering roles Strong troubleshooting and production support mindset Comfortable owning both cloud and on-prem infrastructure Security-conscious and able to design practical, secure access patterns Able to work independently and excellent communication skills to clearly communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders Essential Skills (non-negotiable for this position) Linux & LXC Docker Networking and firewalling strong understanding of VLANs firewall rules / policy design WireGuard SAML / OIDC Intune NGINX Azure cloud portal Microsoft 365 Zabbix Azure AD Additional Skills Strong skills here are important, but not necessarily expert level: OPNsense Proxmox UniFi Jenkins Proxmox Backup Server TrueNAS Authentik We seek to employ creative people who embody a growth mindset are passionate about learning are adaptable and resilient are Respectful, Curious and Accountable #J-18808-Ljbffr
