Lead and execute commercial sourcing solutions for Information & Digital Technology (software, hardware, services), delivering value, reducing risk, and enabling business and supplier strategies. Manage complex, high-risk, high-spend, business-critical IT sourcing initiatives with multiple stakeholders and regulatory considerations. Key Responsibilities Sourcing & Commercial Delivery Own end-to-end sourcing lifecycle (planning → contract handover) Lead RFx processes, market analysis, supplier selection, and negotiations Deliver optimal commercial, financial, and contractual outcomes Implement category strategies and drive cost savings and efficiencies Partner with Absa and internal teams to leverage scale and synergies Lead Cross Functional Sourcing Teams (CFSTs) Engage senior stakeholders, BU Heads, Executives, and suppliers Act as SME across source-to-contract lifecycle Build and maintain strong internal and external relationships Risk, Governance & Compliance Ensure compliance with sourcing, risk, and regulatory frameworks (e.g. POPIA, BBBEE) Manage supplier due diligence, risk assessments, and control obligations Maintain audit trails, manage deviations, and ensure policy adherence Support post-contract supplier risk and performance management Contracting Lead contract negotiations, drafting, approvals, and finalisation Define SLAs, manage legal/risk inputs, and resolve contract mark‑ups Ensure all approvals (incl. Board where required) are obtained Oversee contract renewals, variations, terminations, and obligations tracking Operational & Continuous Improvement Manage spend analysis, reporting, and procurement planning Track savings, optimise supplier spend, and improve sourcing processes Stay updated on market trends, legislation, and best practices Support and guide junior sourcing specialists Requirements Qualifications Minimum: Degree/National Diploma or MCIPS Experience 8–10 years sourcing experience (incl. IT category and Financial Services) Strong IT background and complex RFx/negotiation experience Proven stakeholder management up to executive level Experience across full sourcing lifecycle and risk management Skills Strong commercial, financial, and analytical capability Excellent communication and stakeholder management Project management and multitasking ability High attention to detail, proactive and solution‑oriented #J-18808-Ljbffr
