Summary The Retail Marketing Specialist is responsible for the effective execution of retail marketing strategies that integrate category and product marketing across multiple channels by delivering data‑driven, customer‑centric campaigns that enhance category visibility, promote private brands, and improve customer engagement. Responsibilities Integrated Campaign Management Effectively execute integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including digital, print, in‑store, and social media, aligned with business objectives. Manage campaign timelines and performance metrics to ensure on‑time delivery and alignment with category goals. Collaborate with creative teams and media agencies to create impactful and consistent messaging. Monitor campaign effectiveness, generating insights and actionable recommendations for optimization. Category Marketing Participate in the development of category‑specific marketing strategies. Leverage market analysis, competitor audits, and customer insights to shape and enhance category positioning. Align marketing plans with category‑specific sales goals and overall business strategy. Provide regular updates on category performance metrics, including traffic, conversion rates, cost per visit, and ROI. Participate in the development of marketing strategies to promote private brand products, ensuring competitive positioning in the market. Work with product development teams to align marketing activities with product launch plans and life‑cycle stages. Create compelling product narratives and product support in the development of product‑specific promotional materials. Gather customer feedback to refine product marketing strategies and identify areas for growth. Market Research and Customer Service Excellence Conduct market research to understand customer behavior, competitive dynamics, and emerging trends. Use insights to shape marketing strategies and recommend adjustments to align with market needs. Respond to internal and external customer inquiries with urgency and professionalism. Gather and analyze customer feedback to improve marketing programs and customer experience. Stakeholder Management Partner with cross‑functional teams to develop and execute marketing programs. Act as the liaison between external agencies, internal teams, and key stakeholders to ensure alignment and collaboration. Establish and maintain relationships with retail partners to ensure marketing efforts are integrated and effective. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree / Bachelor of Technology/ Advanced Diploma in a Marketing related qualification. Minimum 4+ years’ experience in a Retail Marketing related environment with a strong focus on Integrated Campaign Management/ Category Marketing / Product Marketing (including Private Brands). Competencies and Skills Expertise in planning, executing, and optimizing multi‑channel marketing campaigns (digital, print, in‑store, and social). Ability to manage end‑to‑end campaign lifecycles, ensuring timely execution, within budget, and alignment with business goals. Proficiency in measuring campaign performance using KPIs such as ROI, ROAS, conversion rates, and customer engagement metrics. In‑depth understanding of category dynamics, customer behaviors, and drivers of category performance. Ability to analyze market trends and competitor activities to develop targeted strategies that drive category visibility and sales. Ability to manage product launches and promotional activities, ensuring seamless execution across channels. Ability to segment target audiences, develop customer personas, and create tailored campaigns that drive engagement. Ability to work cross‑functionally with teams. Strong understanding of customer journeys and the ability to craft experiences that improve satisfaction and loyalty. Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced and high‑pressure retail environment.
