A Telemarketer is responsible for contacting potential or existing customers by phone to promote products or services, generate sales leads, conduct market research, or support customer outreach campaigns. The role requires strong communication skills, professionalism, and the ability to build rapport with customers. Key Responsibilities Make outbound calls to prospective and existing customers. Promote products, services, or special offers. Generate and qualify sales leads. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and call outcomes. Answer customer questions and address objections professionally. Meet daily, weekly, and monthly call and sales targets. Follow company scripts, procedures, and compliance requirements. Update customer information in the CRM system. Inherent Requirements Key Requirements High school diploma or equivalent (preferred). Previous telemarketing, sales, call center, or customer service experience is advantageous. Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Strong persuasion and negotiation abilities. Good computer literacy and data-entry skills. Ability to work independently and achieve targets. Professional telephone etiquette and customer-focused approach.
