The Person: Honours Degree in Security Risk Management, Information Security Management, or an equivalent/related NQF 8 qualification (essential). Minimum 8 to 10 years of solid experience in a security governance environment, with a specific focus on incident management and response. Sound understanding of relevant legislation, security risk and compliance management, industry best practices, and stakeholder engagement. Key Responsibilities Framework Design: Research, develop, and review the GIMC framework to ensure a unified business incident response structure. Standard Setting: Create and maintain the governing standards and procedures that dictate how incidents are managed group-wide. Governance & Implementation: Co-ordinate, facilitate, and provide expert guidance on incident response processes across all business units. Stakeholder Support: Engage actively with internal teams during active incidents to provide support and ensure alignment with guiding principles. Continuous Improvement: Liaise with industry experts and conduct ongoing research to integrate leading global practices into company policies. Data & Reporting: Analyse group-wide incident data and deliver comprehensive reports to multiple departmental structures.
