Electrical Project Engineer Industrial Automation (FMCG / Food & Beverage)Pretoria, Gauteng Key Responsibilities: Develop and manage detailed project schedules aligned to client and internal timelines Generate and review electrical drawings, ensuring strict documentation and revision control Compile project databooks for quality inspections and factory acceptance testing (FAT) Coordinate and manage on-site teams, including technicians and apprentices Prepare procurement packages, obtain supplier quotations, and manage material delivery timelines Monitor project budgets and manage scope changes and engineering change requests (ECRs) Liaise with clients, suppliers, and multi-disciplinary teams to ensure that project milestones are achieved Provide structured project progress updates to management Minimum Requirements: NDip, BTech or BEng in Electrical or Mechatronic Engineering (non-negotiable) 35 years experience in electrical project engineering or industrial automation Proven experience with project scheduling, documentation, and drawing control Experience with panel building, commissioning, and FAT processes (advantageous) Ability to manage and direct technical teams on-site Strong organisational skills and ability to work under pressure in deadline-driven environments Advantageous Experience: FMCG / Food & Beverage project exposure PLC, E&I, or control systems experience Eplan or electrical design software exposure Experience working on international projects Whats on Offer: Competitive salary package based on experience Exposure to European and American projects Opportunity to work within an established and expanding company Long-term career development within a technically advanced environment If you are interested in this opportunity, please apply directly.For more engineering roles, please visit our website or contact us directly.Email:
