Job Description Responsible for supporting the Company plant with chemical analysis and monitoring of critical materials and plant processes (e.g. pretreatment, e‑coat) to ensure strict adherence to quality standards. The incumbent will also provide technical support for investigations and problem solving. Calibration / verification of analytical equipment and adherence to S.H.E.Q standards will form part of the scope of work of the technician. Job Requirements Experience with various analytical techniques – e.g. Karl Fischer titration, scanning electron microscope, FTIR spectrophotometer – and test methods e.g. titrations. Analytical and conceptual thinking. Excellent communication and report‑writing skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite. Ability to perform the minimum required physical and mental requirements of the function. People’s Principles as per LEAD. Outputs Responsible for analysis, monitoring and evaluation of materials and plant processes (e.g. metal pretreatment, e‑coat) to ensure strict adherence to companies quality standards. Use analytical techniques and chemical knowledge to assist with investigations and problem solving. Conducts material evaluation as per the ISIR process. Conducts calibration/verification of equipment. Ensures adherence to S.H.E.Q standards. Responsible for self‑development. Ensures departmental operational plans are met e.g. deadlines. Performs delegated S.H.E.Q tasks and duties & informs superior about deviations. Ensure compliance with the Company's Integrity & Anti Bribery Codes, Conflict of Interest Policy & S.H.E.Q requirements.
