We invest responsibly, prioritising our clients’ interests. Purpose of the Position Assist in developing, implementing, and monitoring a compliance framework across all business facets. The role will evolve into a medium‑term Compliance Officer. Key Responsibilities Embed a strong compliance culture throughout the organization. Develop, implement, and maintain compliance risk management and monitoring plans. Ensure staff compliance with applicable legislation, including required training. Stay current on legislation affecting institutional asset management, including POPIA, Financial Advisory Act, Financial Intelligence Centre Act, CISCA, Regulation 28, and Medical Schemes Act. Investigate and resolve compliance‑related breaches. Draft compliance reports and act as an advisory resource to the business. Maintain relevant regulatory registers (e.g., representative register, breach register). Prepare and present compliance reports to the Board and regulatory bodies. Draft and implement new policies and amend existing ones. Serve as a knowledge hub and seek innovative compliance solutions and methodologies. Lead compliance on various business projects. Engage directly with clients in presentations and due diligence. Collaborate with OMIG and OM Compliance to obtain best solutions and manage alignment.
