You will own the day-to-day finance function across three related businesses — Ello Technology, Ello Apple, and Glasshouse Group — ensuring that each entity’s books are clean, separate, compliant, and audit-ready at all times. This is a hands‑on execution role for someone who is detail‑driven, structured, and disciplined. Your success will be measured by accuracy, consistency, and your ability to maintain reliable, real‑time financial visibility — not just processing transactions. Your First 90 Days By Day 90: You have full ownership of Zoho Books across all three entities You are capturing and coding expenses consistently with high accuracy You are maintaining clean, up-to-date reconciliations across all accounts You are running structured weekly payment cycles with no delays You are delivering month‑end‑ready books within agreed timelines Your finance processes are structured, reliable, and consistently followed This role suits someone who brings consistency, control, and structure from day one. Targets and Performance Measures How Performance Is Measured This role has clear finance hygiene, accuracy, and operational performance expectations. You will be measured on your ability to maintain clean books, ensure timely processing, and deliver accurate financial data across all entities. Key performance indicators include: Expense capture timeliness (90–95% within 48–72 hours) 100% document and attachment compliance Weekly bank and card reconciliations with minimal unresolved items Zero late supplier payments caused by internal delays Month‑end readiness within agreed timelines High levels of data accuracy across Zoho Books This is a precision‑driven role where consistency and attention to detail are critical. Key Responsibilities 1) Zoho Books Ownership Across All Entities You will own the accuracy and structure of Zoho Books across all three companies. This includes: Maintaining complete and accurate financial records Ensuring correct coding of expenses to accounts and categories Maintaining strong audit trails with supporting documentation Applying correct VAT and tax treatment where applicable 2) Expense Capture and Processing You will manage all expense‑related transactions across the business. This includes: Capturing and processing all expenses accurately Ensuring every transaction is supported by documentation Enforcing finance rules such as document compliance Identifying duplicates, errors, and unusual transactions 3) Suppliers, Creditors, and Payment Runs You will manage supplier relationships and payment cycles. This includes: Maintaining accurate supplier records across all entities Tracking payment terms and managing creditors ageing Preparing and executing weekly payment runs Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies 4) Bank and Card Reconciliations You will ensure that all accounts are reconciled and accurate. This includes: Reconciling all bank accounts and credit cards regularly Investigating and resolving unmatched transactions Maintaining clean, review‑ready reconciliations at all times Ensuring no backlog or unresolved items accumulate 5) Reporting and Financial Visibility You will support the business with clear and reliable financial information. This includes: Producing weekly and monthly reporting as required Maintaining month‑end readiness across all entities Providing visibility into expenses, creditors, and financial position Highlighting anomalies or issues early 6) Automation and Process Optimisation You will continuously improve finance processes using Zoho Books. This includes: Identifying repetitive tasks and automating workflows Maintaining structured finance processes and systems Reducing manual admin through system improvements Supporting internal users with finance process guidance Ownership and Control Take full ownership of finance operations.
