Our client is seeking an experienced CNC Setter / Operator to manufacture hydraulic components according to engineering drawings and specifications. The ideal candidate must have strong machining experience, the ability to interpret technical drawings, and the capability to set and operate CNC lathes and machining centres with precision. This role requires accuracy, technical skill, and the ability to work independently in a high quality manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Manufacturing & Machining Machine hydraulic components according to drawing specifications Follow job cards and manufacturing procedures Set and operate CNC Lathes and CNC Machining Centres Perform deburring of all manufactured parts Conduct routine machine maintenance Measurement & Quality Control Set up and use precision measuring instruments Interpret complex specifications and engineering drawings Apply statistical process control techniques for problem solving Perform non‑routine adjustments as required General Machining Functions Sharpen repetition drills using machine tools Deburr components using hand tools, grinders, or portable power tools Check, prepare, and mark own blocks Operate a milling machine when required Minimum Requirements Grade 12 (Matric) / N3 or equivalent Basic mechanical skills Minimum 4 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment CNC Milling & Turning basic courses Ability to measure accurately using precision instruments Ability to interpret engineering drawings Strong attention to detail and quality focus Key Competencies Technical accuracy and precision Strong problem solving ability Ability to work independently Good communication and teamwork skills High level of responsibility and reliability #J-18808-Ljbffr
