Port Elizabeth, South Africa | Posted on 02/05/2025 Our client is seeking a Senior Sales Representative to service Port Elizabeth and the surrounding Eastern Cape area, Facilitating the movement of cultivars through the evaluation and development of a business strategy for each cultivar. Expedite the movement of new cultivars through quarantine & citrus improvement scheme for Disease Free certification. Manage processes of evaluation to determine value potential. Develop and implement sales strategies to meet business objectives in the citrus cultivar market. Identify new market opportunities and customer segments for the company's citrus products. Create sales forecasts, budgets, and ensure sales targets are achieved. Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and consumer demand in the citrus market. Conduct regular market research to identify emerging trends and opportunities for growth. Manage the process of IP protection of cultivars that show probable value. Develop, implement and co-ordinate a sales management strategy for each cultivar. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Agriculture, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
