Job Description This position is based at our Rietrivier Grain Silo near Jacobsdal, a small farming town in the Free State province of South Africa that reflects the heart of South Africa’s agricultural landscape. Requirements Grade 12 or NQF4 Experience in the agriculture sector will be advantageous Minimum 1-2 years experience in a similar role Grain Grading course (Maize and Wheat) All relevant Grading courses to be completed through in‑service training Excellent communication skills Thorough, precise and accurate Constantly adding value to the current functions of the vacancy Clear criminal record Traceable references Computer literate Code 8 Driver's License would serve as an advantage Duties and Responsibilities Grain grading according to procedures and regulations Logistic function, incoming and outgoing grain administration Job‑related administrative functions Handling, facilitating and solving disputes Pass all compulsory courses Report any quality discrepancies directly to the senior Provide general support to the department such as accurate tracking of stock control cards Assist with the administrative functions related to security, health and safety aspects Manage client services by ensuring processes are in place to prevent escalation of client complaint Skills Required Verbal Thorough, precise and accurate Teamplayer Quick decision making Problem definition and analysis Computer literate Responsible Punctual Good administration skills Other Information VKB Group is an equal opportunity employer.
