Identify, target, and acquire new clients across banks, retailers, PSPs, mobile money operators, digital lenders, and enterprise customers. Develop and execute structured prospecting strategies, including cold calling, networking, LinkedIn outreach, and industry events. Drive end-to-end sales cycles from lead generation through negotiation and contract closure. Present and position payment and fintech solutions to senior decisionmakers and executive stakeholders. Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities across terminals, services, and emerging technologies. Build and maintain strategic relationships during the acquisition and onboarding phase. Maintain accurate CRM records and provide reliable pipeline and revenue forecasts. Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform strategic growth initiatives. Collaborate with internal teams including Sales, Marketing, Technical, Call Centre, and Production to ensure successful client onboarding. Qualifications and Experience Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, Commerce, or a related field. Minimum of 7 years experience in business development or enterprise sales. Proven track record of achieving and exceeding revenue targets. Experience within the Banking, Payments, or Fintech industry essential. Experience operating within African markets advantageous.
