Our client based in Isando is looking for a Business Architect with at least 6-8 years of experience in the field, coupled with NQF Level 7 qualification in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field and TOGAF Certification. Purpose of the Role The Business Architect is responsible for translating business strategy into actionable capabilities and operating models that drive enterprise transformation. They define and map business capabilities, value streams, and processes to ensure alignment with strategic objectives. The role involves analysing the current (baseline) state, designing the target state, and identifying gaps and opportunities for improvement. Business Architect is also responsible for engaging stakeholders to capture business drivers, requirements and constraints that shape solution design. They contribute to transformation roadmaps, ensuring initiatives are prioritised based on value, feasibility and risk. Within innovation squads, the Business Architect provides the voice of the business, ensuring that emerging technologies and innovations directly support measurable business outcomes.
