Minimum Requirements BCom Accounting or related qualification Relevant degree with completed articles 35 years' accounting experience within the service industry Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Experience working across multiple brands or entities Advanced reporting and financial analysis skills Ability to prepare customised management reports Confidence presenting financial information at Executive Committee (EXCO) level Professional resilience and the ability to manage emotionally demanding situations High levels of integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail Key Responsibilities As the Internal Accountant, you will play a critical role in maintaining the financial health and integrity of the organisation by:Managing the accounting process through to trial balance Preparing customised financial and management reports Supervising the recording of entries relating to assets, liabilities, and capital accounts Maintaining accurate audit documentation and supporting audit processes Analysing financial information and recommending appropriate financial actions Developing, implementing, and maintaining accounting policies and internal controls Supporting and coordinating accounting clerical staff activities Investigating and reconciling financial discrepancies Safeguarding financial information through strict adherence to internal controls Overseeing payments through verification of supporting documentation and authorisation processes Ensuring compliance with financial legislation and regulatory requirements Conducting trend and variance analyses to support strategic decision-making Maintaining strict confidentiality of all financial and organisational information What We Offer Competitive salary package (R35 000 R55 000 CTC per month) Performance bonuses paid twice annually A supportive and professional working environment Opportunity to work with multiple entities and gain broad financial exposure A culture focused on excellence, growth, and continuous improvement
