Requirements: Matric / Grade 12 Bachelors degree in food science, Food Technology, or a related field. Must have 3 - 5 years experience in a similar or related environment within the business. Know-How, Technical Skills and Experience (n. of years and where) 2 3 years HACCP Understanding and implementation according to SANS 10330:2020 Basic understanding Veterinary and Act 36 requirements. Basic laboratory experience or techniques Syspro Basic understanding is an advantage and operating a must to learn on the job. Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) Understanding of Manufacturing processes Key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: Ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards (HACCP, GMP) Oversee quality control processes and product testing. Conduct internal and external audits, inspections, and PPE checks. Review production records and supplier quality compliance. Identify non-conformities and implement corrective actions. Drive continuous process improvement and operational efficiency. Provide training and support to production staff on food safety systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Production, QA, Maintenance)
