Key Responsibilities Financial Reporting & Compliance Ensure accurate and timely monthly reporting within strict deadlines Review monthly management accounts for completeness and accuracy Prepare sales reporting including sales flash and backorders Assist with the preparation and finalisation of annual financial statements Compile quarterly and year-end reporting packs in accordance with IFRS Manage corporate income tax, including provisional tax calculations and submissions (IT14s, ITSDs) Support transfer pricing documentation and compliance Act as key point of contact for internal and external auditors and ensure resolution of audit findings Review balance sheet reconciliations and oversee provisions, including year-end assessments Budgeting, Forecasting & Planning Lead the annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes Drive budget development in collaboration with General Managers Maintain and update sales forecasts (pipeline) Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable insights Perform scenario and sensitivity analysis to support business decisions Financial Planning & Analysis Analyse revenue, margins, costs, and profitability trends Provide financial dashboards, reports, and presentations to leadership Support quarterly business reviews through clear and concise reporting Monitor financial performance against budget and recommend corrective actions Conduct cost and cost-benefit analysis to improve operational efficiency Identify risks, opportunities, and areas for improvement Drive process improvements and identify automation opportunities Operational & Finance Oversight Coordinate and support stock takes Review fixed asset useful lives for year-end reporting Oversee payroll submissions, validation, and posting to the general ledger Manage payment releases Ensure accurate and timely provision of financial data across functions Business Partnering Collaborate cross-functionally to understand key business drivers Provide financial insight to support strategic initiatives and projects Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the organisation Support cross-functional projects with financial impact Minimum Requirements CA(SA) qualification (essential) 35 years experience in a commercial finance / business partnering role Strong experience in financial reporting, tax, and financial analysis Recent experience preparing and/or reviewing annual financial statements Advanced MS Excel (including modelling and scenario analysis) Experience in a high-volume transaction environment Advantageous: Manufacturing, industrial, or shared services environment exposure Candidate Profile Highly analytical with strong attention to detail Commercially astute with sound business judgment Strong communication and presentation skills Proactive, hands-on, and results-driven Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative approach
