A leading organisation is recruiting for a Contract Specialist: Property Leasing: 6-12 Month Fixed Term Contract to support the end-to-end management of a national property lease portfolio. This role requires a highly experienced consultant who can manage complex lease negotiations while implementing a structured, centralised lease management system to strengthen governance, compliance, and operational continuity. Responsibilities Manage the full lease lifecycle, including negotiations, renewals, and addendums Engage with landlords, municipalities, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless operations Design and implement a centralised national lease database with accurate, auditable data Deliver weekly and monthly reporting on renewals, risks, and cost exposure Identify cost-saving opportunities and support optimisation initiatives Ensure all lease documentation is compliant, accurate, and audit-ready Provide business-as-usual leasing support to prevent operational disruptions Requirements 5+ years’ experience in property leasing, preferably within telecommunications Proven experience managing high-volume, multi-region lease portfolios Strong negotiation skills with landowners and corporate landlords Experience building or improving lease tracking or document management systems Solid understanding of leasing legislation, contract management, and compliance Advanced Excel and strong data management capability High attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and the ability to work independently Valid driver’s licence EE Disclaimer All positions will be filled in accordance with the company's Employment Equity plan.
