Job Title A company based in Midrand / Menlyn is looking for a Full stack Java Developer (Angular) to join their team on a long-term renewable contract working hybrid . Job Description Duties: At least 5 years knowledge and experience in Java development including version control (Git) Knowledge of Kafka or other streaming platforms or messaging systems (e.g., MQTT) Kubernetes/Microservice Architecture Proficiency in UI frameworks (e.g., Angular version 9 or higher) Development of backend and frontend user stories Actively participate in all regular Scrum ceremonies Contribute to the refinement of user stories Liaise with stakeholders and team members Pro-active knowledge sharing, mentoring, and coaching Clarify open points and develop prototypes for further discussion Provide support for existing solutions (DevOps) Agile experience (advantageous) ITIL process knowledge and work experience (advantageous) Experience with backend frameworks like Java EE/J2EE Experience with testing tools (e.g., Karma, Jasmine, Postman, Newman, Cypress, Selenium, Junit, Xunit, Robot, Jest) Experience with Jira and Confluence Experience in agile methodologies, particularly Scrum Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery tools (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab, Terraform, Ansible) Relevant IT Degree / Diploma / equivalent work experience 5+ years’ experience as a Software Engineer 2+ years’ experience with Angular Package & Remuneration Salary Negotiable #J-18808-Ljbffr
