Job Overview We are seeking a hands-on and driven Warehouse Supervisor to lead and manage warehouse operations within a fast-paced environment. This role is responsible for planning, organising, and overseeing daily warehouse activities, while ensuring operational efficiency, team performance, and adherence to quality standards and company values. The successful candidate will play a key role in people management, process optimisation, and stock control, ensuring all deliverables are met without compromising on quality, compliance, or culture. Key Responsibilities Warehouse Operations & Planning Plan, organise, and monitor all warehouse floor activities Optimise stock flow and warehouse layout planning Ensure adherence to warehouse procedures, policies, and quality standards Drive operational efficiency and meet daily/weekly deliverables Team Leadership & People Management Lead, mentor, and motivate Team Leaders and warehouse staff Conduct 1-on-1s, return-to-work discussions, and performance management Manage leave, attendance, and workforce planning Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of new employees Ensure adherence to HR and IR processes Stock & Inventory Management Oversee stock control processes and ensure accuracy Manage ERP-related stock movements and interdepartmental transfers Investigate discrepancies and implement corrective actions Maintain strong stock security and loss prevention measures Reporting & Communication Compile and present operational reports to management Provide regular feedback on performance, risks, and improvements Communicate effectively across teams to ensure alignment and delivery Process Improvement & Compliance Identify operational inefficiencies and implement improvements Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards Uphold company culture and values in all interactions Core Competencies Strong leadership and team management ability Excellent organisational and planning skills High attention to detail and quality assurance mindset Strong problem-solving and multitasking capability Effective communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Ethical, accountable, and process-driven approach Minimum Requirements Qualifications Relevant Logistics / Supply Chain qualification advantageous OR 1–3 years’ experience in a similar warehouse supervisory role Experience Experience within FMCG, pharmaceutical, or cosmetics environments advantageous Proven experience managing warehouse teams and operations Technical Skills S trong Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Experience with ERP or warehouse management systems Computer literate with ability to learn new systems Additional Requirements Strong communication skills (English essential; additional SA languages advantageous) Ability to work flexible hours when required High level of integrity and accountability, particularly in stock management Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
