Minimum requirements:Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related engineering field 3+ years experience within the solar PV or EPC industry Proven experience designing commercial and/or utility-scale solar PV systems Strong understanding of solar technologies, BESS systems, and grid integration principles Experience performing energy yield simulations and feasibility assessments Proficiency in design and simulation software such as: PVsyst Helioscope AutoCAD or similar Strong understanding of electrical system design principles and renewable energy regulations Valid drivers license and willingness to travel to sites when required Duties will include but is not limited to:Develop preliminary and detailed solar PV system designs for commercial and utility-scale projects Perform energy yield assessments, electrical calculations, and system optimisation studies Prepare system layouts, single-line diagrams (SLDs), and technical documentation Support the Business Development team with technical input for proposals, tenders, and feasibility studies Review site information, drawings, and technical specifications to determine optimal system solutions Assist with BESS integration and grid connection considerations Liaise with internal teams, clients, consultants, suppliers, and external stakeholders during project development phases Ensure designs comply with relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practices Support value engineering initiatives to improve project efficiency and cost-effectiveness Stay updated with renewable energy technologies, trends, and regulatory developments Please note: Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted
