This role offers exposure to a dynamic, growing business with both local and international operations. The successful candidate will support monthly accounting processes across multiple group entities, including insurance and reinsurance brokers as well as investment holding companies. The ideal individual will be detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership within a fast-paced, internationally focused environment. Key Responsibilities Processing and capturing transactions in Pastel Partner across multiple local and international entities Performing multicurrency bank reconciliations Loading and managing online banking transactions (multicurrency) Assisting with monthly account closures Performing forex revaluations Preparing the underwriter payment process, including bordereaux production, reconciliations, and market communications Liaising with broking and technology teams to ensure accurate system integration and financial reporting Assisting with year-end processes Monitoring and supporting the recovery of large aged debtors Supporting finance-related HR processes, including the distribution of payslips and IRP5s Minimum Requirements Relevant undergraduate Degree (preferably in Commerce or Accounting) Minimum of 5 years’ professional experience in an accounting/finance role Experience working within a small- to medium-sized, fast-growing South African business, with an international footprint will be advantageous Strong working knowledge of Pastel Partner Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new financial systems and tools Competencies & Skills Strong attention to detail Ability to manage multiple entities and deadlines High level of accountability and ownership Strong reconciliation and analytical skills Comfortable working in a dynamic, evolving environment Effective communication skills across finance, broking and technology teams For more information, contact: Angelique Jardim, Specialist Recruitment Consultant #J-18808-Ljbffr
