A leading organisation is seeking a Business Analyst with strong experience in Global Markets to join their team on a 6-12 month contract. You will work closely with stakeholders across front, middle, and back-office teams to deliver technology and business solutions that enhance efficiency, compliance, and profitability. Key Responsibilities Partner with Global Markets business units to understand strategic goals and translate them into clear business and functional requirements. Analyse, document, and optimise trading and post-trade workflows (FX, Fixed Income, Equities, Derivatives, or Commodities). Support system enhancements and integrations across risk, pricing, and trading platforms. Collaborate with technology teams to deliver data-driven insights and automation solutions. Conduct impact assessments, data analysis, and user acceptance testing (UAT) for new system releases or regulatory initiatives. Prepare detailed documentation including BRDs, process maps, and business cases. Ensure alignment with compliance, risk, and regulatory requirements in all project deliverables. Qualifications and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Computer Science, or related field. Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Business Analyst within Global Markets / Investment Banking. Strong understanding of front-to-back trade lifecycle and financial products (FX, Bonds, Derivatives, Money Markets, etc.). Proven experience working on system implementations, process improvement, or digital transformation projects. Solid analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
