An exciting opportunity exists for an IT Support Engineer with 3 years minimum experience to join a dynamic team in Johannesburg. This permanent role is ideal for someone with 3 years’+ infrastructure & systems experience who thrives under pressure and can deliver rapid, decisive solutions. Key Responsibilities: Provide second & third-line IT support within a ticket-based ITSM environment. Respond quickly and calmly to critical incidents and outages , ensuring structured troubleshooting and clear communication. Support hybrid infrastructure environments, including Microsoft Azure, Active Directory/Azure AD, and Microsoft 365 . Apply and maintain endpoint security controls (patching, antivirus, MFA) and escalate risks when necessary . Assist with backup operations and disaster recovery activities , ensuring data integrity and business continuity. Requirements: Diploma/Degree in IT, Computer Scienc e, or related field (or equivalent experience). 3 Years Minimum experience in IT infrastructure fundamentals, networking (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP) , and Windows OS (macOS advantageous). Exposure to Microsoft Azure and hybrid cloud/on-prem environments and supporting development. Ability to execute quickly and decisively under pressure, with strong ownership of issues.
