Junior Bookkeeper & Administrative Assistant About the job: We are seeking a reliable, organized, and proactive Junior Bookkeeper & Administrative Assistant to support our day-to-day operations. This is a dynamic role suited to someone who is detail-oriented, professional, and confident in communicating with clients. The ideal candidate will have strong administrative capabilities together with a basic understanding of bookkeeping processes and accounting systems such as Xero. Key Responsibilities Assisting with Bookkeeping duties Answer and manage incoming phone calls, directing them appropriately Monitor and respond to emails in a timely and professional manner Support client onboarding processes, including compliance tasks such as AML checks and risk assessments Set up and maintain accurate client records within internal systems Assist with bookkeeping and finance administration tasks using Xero Support credit control and invoice follow-ups Perform data capturing, reconciliations, and general financial administration Maintain clear, professional communication with clients at all times Provide general administrative support and assist with ad hoc operational tasks Support additional data processing and administrative functions as training is provided Requirements Previous experience in an administrative and/or junior bookkeeping role Experience working with Xero or similar accounting software is advantageous Available Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm (UK time) Comfortable working remotely and remaining available on Zoom throughout the day Able to handle phone calls in a quiet, professional environment Strong organisational, time management, and communication skills High attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively Reliable, responsive, and proactive in approach Good understanding of confidentiality and professional client communication #J-18808-Ljbffr
