Fund Accounting Manager Responsible for planning and preparing financial reports for a portfolio of funds, ensuring all reporting deadlines and contractual requirements are met. Contributes to strategic development and training of accounting staff. Core Accounting Review day‑to‑day bookkeeping, including expenses, VAT, accruals, prepayments, loan interest and investment/investor activity. Review quarterly management accounts (Income Statement, Balance Sheet/NAV, Changes in Equity, Cash Flows). Review interim and annual financial statements and manage auditor relationships. Ensure compliance with regulatory, statutory and accounting standards. Stakeholder Management Build understanding of client structures, transactions and reporting needs. Oversee processes to ensure timely delivery of financial reports. Lead client meetings on accounting matters and agree reporting timetables with clients, auditors and advisers. Other Responsibilities Motivate and support staff, maintain quality standards and drive continuous improvement. Ensure adherence to Ocorian policies and contribute to their development. Support training, development and performance reviews within the team. Facilitate clear communication, including regular team meetings. Assist with fee proposals and attend meetings with prospective clients. Review and release client payments prepared by Administration. Qualifications This position requires an ACA/ACCA‑qualified accountant (or equivalent) with strong technical expertise in IFRS and UK GAAP. Solid and pragmatic accounting skills and technical accounting knowledge. Excellent presentational, written and verbal communication skills. Meticulous attention to detail.
