Regional Sales Manager – Southern Africa Reporting to: Sales & Marketing Director Africa Company: Rivulis – Global leader in micro‑irrigation since 1937, focused on sustainable agriculture and farmer empowerment. The Rivulis META Business Unit seeks a Sales Manager for SADC to steer commercial activities across South Africa and neighboring countries. Role & Responsibilities Lead, coach and develop the regional sales team, aligning with Rivulis’ global strategy. Drive business growth by managing key accounts, partners and distributors, and by spearheading strategic irrigation projects across the region. Execute commercial strategies, including pricing, market development and large‑scale project delivery. Collaborate with technical, agronomic and commercial teams to deliver integrated irrigation solutions that support sales and customer success. Monitor market trends and engage with key stakeholders, including government and industry bodies, to identify new opportunities. Own regional performance, including budgets, forecasting, operational efficiency and stock optimisation. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Agricultural Engineering, Agronomy or irrigation (hydraulic). Minimum 3 years of experience in low‑volume or drip irrigation. Proven experience in team leadership and regional business management. Strong knowledge of the South African irrigation market is a significant advantage. Excellent communication, relationship‑building and negotiation skills. Currently living in South Africa is mandatory; candidates based in Cape Town are strongly preferred. Fluency in English (Afrikaans is an advantage). Availability to travel regularly within the region and abroad.
