Bakery Manager – Hilton – KwaZulu-Natal Our client, a well-established and high-volume retail bakery operation based in Hilton, KwaZulu‑Natal, is seeking an experienced Bakery Manager to oversee all bakery operations, production standards, team management, and customer service delivery within a fast‑paced retail environment. Responsibilities Ensure consistent product quality, stock management, hygiene compliance, staff supervision, and excellent customer service standards. Oversee production processes, manage bakery displays and merchandising, staff scheduling, training and performance management, and maintain equipment and workspaces to health and safety standards. Manage costings, gross profit margins, wastage control, and implement strategies to maximise sales and profitability. Qualifications Proven experience managing a bakery operation. Strong knowledge of baking techniques and bakery production processes. Experience with costings, gross profit management, and stock control. Strong leadership and staff management skills. Ability to work effectively under pressure in a high-volume environment. Excellent problem‑solving and organisational skills. Strong customer service and communication abilities.
