The Senior Manager Marketing is responsible for ensuring the Clientèle brand credibility and equity across all communication platforms. Key Responsibilities Strategic Requirements Marketing strategy aligned to business objectives – set broad strategic objectives and define success measures across all Clientèle products excluding IFA and Investments Assess all advertising material in line with business objectives ATL, BTL, Digital, 3rd Party (affiliates). Lead communication strategy development aligned to consumer insights and behaviour Drive product innovation in collaboration with Product team. Align communication needs with product requirements (Life vs General business units) Evaluate product offerings to ensure value for clients and shareholders. Support strategic initiatives of new distribution channels (Broker and Agency) with relevant marketing material. Operational requirements Brief marketing material to External and Internal creative teams and manage all processes to ensure timeous delivery of advertising material to the relevant media platforms Monitor competitor activity (on-going) and compile analysis twice a year. Present findings and recommendations to Executives Monitor and analyse market trends Exploring ways of improving existing products and services and increasing profitability Ensure brand communication aligned to CI Quarterly marketing updates for CEO report Compile minutes and distribute Project Management Strategic Requirements Support business initiatives from a marketing perspective New products New processes / platforms New distribution channels Lead projects and harness all available resources – key stakeholders or support departments as well as marketing resources. Operational risk reporting. Report on any risks that the business could be exposed to Experience and Qualifications Completed a Marketing qualification (BComm, BA Communication or IMM) At least 5 years’ experience at a senior level (min 10 years experience) Proficient in brand building, campaign development and management across all media platforms including PR Proficient on MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) Social media experience an advantage Communications experience an advantage Core Competencies This function requires leadership capabilities in order to support the media and marketing team to achieve the business objectives Cross-functional management required Sound strategic insights balanced with the ability to work in an operational manner Must be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment Be an excellent communicator Work well within a team and a wide range of people Be organised and methodical Must have strong analytic skills The individual needs to be able to work well in a team Be willing to support the team no matter how menial the task Must be able to work well and cope under pressure Personal Characteristics Professional, adaptable, confident in personal capabilities, proactive, reliable Special Requirements Preferably Financial Services experience Preferably Direct Response experience Marketing Degree 10 years’ experience FMCG experience #J-18808-Ljbffr
