Key Responsibilities Analyse project profitability, cost performance, and financial trends across multiple active projects Identify cost drivers, risks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for margin improvement Perform detailed job costing, WIP tracking, and project financial reporting across divisions Prepare monthly journals, accruals, and project-related financial adjustments Maintain and control job codes, cost allocation, and project tracking governance Compile and review project income statements, balance sheets, and supporting schedules Conduct variance analysis on labour, materials, and operational spend versus budget Support budgeting, forecasting, and revenue tracking for ongoing and future projects Partner with Project Managers and QS teams to assess project viability and profitability Monitor site performance and labour efficiency against revenue and cost targets Ensure accurate reporting, reconciliations, and audit-ready financial records Support invoicing aligned to project milestones and contractual requirements Deliver clear financial insights to improve decision-making and operational efficiency Collaborate with site and divisional teams on cost control and performance tracking Job Experience & Skills Required BCom Accounting, related (essential) CIMA qualification (completed or in progress required) 3–6 years’ experience in cost accounting within a project-based, engineering, construction, or mining environment Strong understanding of job costing, WIP, BOMs, and project financial control Advanced Excel and strong analytical capability Ability to translate complex financial data into clear commercial insights Strong stakeholder engagement skills across technical and operational teams High attention to detail with strong governance and control mindset Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment #J-18808-Ljbffr
