We are recruiting a Student Finance Officer based in South Africa to support our UK student funding processes. We are looking for someone smart, reliable, and detail‑oriented, with excellent English communication skills (equivalent to IELTS Band 8) and a neutral or British‑accented speaking voice . This role requires professionalism, accuracy, and confidence when guiding students through funding requirements. Four‑Stage Hiring Process Stage 1 – Screening – We review your CV and your 90‑second introduction video. Stage 2 – One‑to‑One Interview – Shortlisted candidates attend a structured interview. Stage 3 – Open Book Assessment – Shortlisted candidates attend an open‑book oral assessment. Stage 4 – Offer Letter – Successful applicants receive a formal employment offer. Key Responsibilities Supporting students with financial eligibility and application requirements. Preparing, reviewing, and submitting documentation and evidence. Performing administrative checks across internal and external systems. Maintaining accurate case notes, records, and status updates. Communicating clearly and professionally with students. Working with senior team members on escalated cases. Ensuring compliance, accuracy, and confidentiality at all times. Candidate Requirements Prior experience or strong familiarity with Student Finance England (SFE) is essential. Excellent spoken and written English (equivalent to IELTS Score 8 ). Neutral or British‑accented English when speaking. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously and meet deadlines. Professional handling of sensitive documents and personal information. Reliable, consistent, and able to follow structured procedures. Comfortable working fully remotely with stable internet connectivity.
