A well-established and expanding agricultural business is seeking a Financial Manager to lead the finance function and work closely with operational teams on the ground. Drive operational cost control, profitability analysis, and margin improvement initiatives. Prepare management accounts, financial packs, and performance reporting for leadership. Manage working capital, stock / inventory reporting, and cash flow forecasting. Ensure strong governance, compliance, internal controls, and audit readiness. Partner with operational teams to support planning, production costing, and process improvements. Identify financial risks and opportunities and provide strategic recommendations. Manage and develop the finance team and ensure deadlines are consistently met. Job Experience and Skills Required: Education: CA(SA) (Non-negotiable) Experience: Minimum 58 years post-articles experience in finance roles Proven experience in agriculture, farming, agri-processing, manufacturing, or similar operational environments Strong operational finance exposure with hands-on involvement in business performance Experience managing a finance team and working closely with operational stakeholders Skills: Strong budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting experience Advanced Excel skills (Non-negotiable) ERP system exposure (SAP / Sage / Syspro / Dynamics advantageous) Strong commercial acumen and analytical capability Ability to engage with non-financial stakeholders and influence decision-making Other Non-Negotiables: Must be willing to be operationally involved and site-based when required Strong leadership, accountability, and deadline-driven mindset Apply now!
