Role Purpose: The Delegated Authority (DA) Analyst will support the effective and compliant Business as Usual (BAU) management of the Binding Authority portfolio. The role sits below in the Senior Delegated Authority (DA) Analyst role in the Delegated Authority (DUA) team in Operations and reports to the Head of DA at ASR. The purpose of the role is to help establish and maintain strong technical delivery, controls framework and reliable operational support for ASR DA team while developing a deeper knowledge and expertise in Delegated Authority. Role Responsibilities: 1 Delegated Authority (DA) Operational Support and BAU Activities Support the day-to-day operational lifecycle of all Binding Authority agreements (Binders) in line with agreed delegations and controls. Track Coverholder performance against contractual terms and agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs), escalating concerns where appropriate. Support renewal processes including tracking, reminders, and documentation collation. Assist with preparation, review and interpretation of binding authority agreements and endorsements. If required, assist the bordereaux manager with bordereaux production, receipt, validation and escalation of issues in collaboration with BDX, Claims, Finance and Compliance teams. 2 Technical and Regulatory Support Act as a key point of contact for internal technical queries relating to binder reporting, data quality, and processing. Apply a strong working knowledge of different binder structures and Lloyd’s reporting requirements to ensure accurate and timely compliance. Maintain accurate records across internal systems, ensuring data integrity within the Policy Administration System (PAS). If required, assist the bordereaux manager in performing quality checks, reconciliations and analysis of bordereaux and related data. 3 Reporting and Governance Support the production of management information and operational reporting for Delegated Authority oversight forums. Assist in identifying potential control weaknesses, data issues, or process inefficiencies. Ensure that all DA files, contracts, and supporting documentation are complete, accurate, and appropriately stored. 4 Collaboration and Development Work closely with Senior DA colleagues and provide support to junior team members where required. Demonstrate a proactive approach to learning and development within Delegated Authority practices. Comply with all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements Skills & Experience: Essential: Proven experience (typically 2–4 years) in a Delegated Authority or related insurance operations role within the London Market or similar. Solid understanding of Binding Authorities, bordereaux reporting and delegated underwriting arrangements. Working knowledge of Lloyd’s oversight, controls, and regulatory expectations. Ability to manage tasks independently while contributing effectively within a team. Strong organisational and analytical skills with good attention to detail. Desirable: Experience across Specialty Insurance Lines. Familiarity with bordereaux management systems. Strong MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word capability. Additional language skills (e.g. French).
