What They’re Looking For Our client is seeking an experienced QA Engineer with a strong background in both manual and automated testing within enterprise or SaaS‑based environments. The ideal candidate will have a proactive mindset, strong analytical skills, and the ability to identify issues before they impact production environments. You should be comfortable working closely with software engineers, product teams, and delivery stakeholders within an agile development environment. The successful candidate will have experience with: Manual and automation testing methodologies Building and maintaining automated regression test suites Web automation tools such as Cypress, Playwright, or similar technologies Agile/Scrum delivery environments Writing detailed test plans, scenarios, and defect reports API and back‑end validation testing SQL querying and data validation CI/CD and test management platforms such as Azure DevOps Working alongside development teams to improve software quality throughout the SDLC Experience within cloud‑based environments and exposure to modern Microsoft technology stacks would be highly beneficial. Key Responsibilities The QA Engineer will play a key role within a cross‑functional software delivery team and will be responsible for ensuring product quality across multiple releases and feature enhancements. Responsibilities will include: Designing, maintaining, and executing comprehensive test strategies and test cases Performing both exploratory and regression testing across web applications and APIs Developing and enhancing automated testing coverage for new and existing functionalityIdentifying, documenting, and tracking software defects with clear reproduction steps and impact assessments Supporting release cycles and validating production‑ready deployments Collaborating with developers and product stakeholders during sprint planning and refinement sessions Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across testing processes and quality standards Supporting junior team members and promoting QA best practices across the wider engineering team Nice to Have The following experience would be advantageous but is not essential: Exposure to C#/.NET environments Understanding of React‑based front‑end applications Experience with performance or load testing Knowledge of API testing tools such as Postman Familiarity with scaled agile delivery frameworks Interest in AI‑assisted testing technologies and modern QA tooling Previous mentoring or coaching experience within engineering teams Why Join?
