Security Designer - Integrated Security Systems (South Africa Offices) AECOM’s Enterprise Capabilities team is looking for a Security Designer - Integrated Security Systems to join our team in our South Africa offices. Here is what you will do: Manage the design aspect of projects and maintain relationships with project team members, meeting with clients to document technical and operational requirements that form the basis of the security design solution. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and interior designers on a daily basis, providing unique opportunities for development. Develop integrated security solutions for a wide range of clients utilizing surveillance systems, access control, intrusion detection, visitor management, voice communication systems, and integrated collaborative systems for security and control operation center environments. Create security solutions based on client requirements. Here’s what we’re looking for: Ability to work independently and communicate confidently, articulately, and sensitively. Passion for design innovation and quality, balanced with efficiency and creativity in development of solutions. +5 years of security design experience. Working knowledge of the AIA design process is desirable. Proficiency with AutoCAD/Revit. Qualifications BA/BSc in a technology/electronics or similar field. +5 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience. Industry certification PSP. Experience with AutoCAD/Revit.
