Primary Location: ZA - Cape Town, Carl Cronje Drive, B Job Description AECOM South Africa is looking for Technologists for the delivery of diverse local and international projects. Key responsibilities include the design, preparation and management of road designs and drawings using CAD and 3D modelling software. Preparation and management of geometric design models and drawings for roads and other road-related structures. Preparation and management of road geometric designs, drawings, reports, bill of quantities. 3D design and modelling of roads and associated infrastructure. Application of the AECOM Quality Management System (QMS) in all work. Knowledge of Geometric Design Codes, Drainage Design Codes and other relevant standards (benefit). Participation in client meetings to discuss project requirements and defend work. Participates in the development and preparation of bids and proposals. Qualifications Degree in Civil Engineering. High competency and specialist design and 3D modelling of roads and associated infrastructure. Minimum of four years’ experience in the design and modelling of roads and associated infrastructure. Proficiency in AutoCad, Civil3D, MicroStation, Open Roads. Good knowledge of the SANRAL and Western Cape Provincial Governments design procedures (benefit). Experience working for Transport Authority clients in the USA, Canada and Australia considered favourable. Experience using common data environments Autodesk Construction Cloud (BIM360) and Bentley ProjectWise.
