Key Responsibilities Monitor production flow, identify operational bottlenecks, and optimise resources to ensure targets and deadlines are achieved. Lead and motivate multidisciplinary teams, driving accountability and performance across the operation. Analyse production and operational data, including efficiencies, output, forecasting, and workflow metrics using ERP systems and Excel. Oversee production planning, dispatch coordination, and volume forecasting. Ensure compliance with health & safety legislation, audit requirements, and operational standards. Drive continuous improvement initiatives, process optimisation projects, and operational problem-solving. Work closely with senior leadership on operational strategy, efficiencies, and long-term succession planning. Requirements Relevant tertiary qualification essential. Strong understanding of manufacturing operations and production management principles. Knowledge of the OHS Act, Labour Relations Act, and continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma. Proven leadership ability in a high-pressure operational environment. Strong analytical, organisational, and decision-making skills. Prior experience in manufacturing, production, FMCG, textiles, processing, or a related industrial environment.
