Senior Network & Systems Administrator MID616 Location: Johannesburg SouthEmployment Type: Permanent A large multi-site group is seeking an experienced Senior Network & Systems Administrator to manage, secure and optimise enterprise network and server environments. Key Responsibilities Manage LAN, WAN, VPN, VLAN, Wi‑Fi and Internet connectivity across multiple sites Configure and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, wireless infrastructure Server administration: Windows Server 2019/2022, Active Directory, file/share permissions Microsoft 365 & Azure AD (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive) Network security, backups, disaster recovery & business continuity Monitor performance, troubleshoot escalated issues, manage emergencies Support hybrid cloud/on‑prem environments Maintain documentation, firmware updates, patching and backups Mentor junior IT staff and liaise with vendors/service providers Minimum Requirements Matric 5+ years’ experience in IT Administration / Network Engineering Strong hands‑on experience with TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing protocols Windows Server & Windows 10/11 environments VPNs (site‑to‑site & client), Mikrotik RouterOS, firewalls Microsoft Active Directory & Office 365 Certifications: A+ / N+, MCITP, Network Security+ Diploma in IT Systems Administration (NQF 4/5) advantageous Key Competencies Advanced server & network knowledge Strong problem‑solving and communication skills High attention to detail, organised and dependable Ability to work under pressure and multitask Ownership mindset, proactive and service‑driven Team player with a growth mentality Remuneration Package: Basic salary of R30 000 – R50 000 depending on experience Provident Fund & Medical Aid Contribution Kindly send detailed CV, Certificates, and ID copy to Use reference number MID616 in email subject line #J-18808-Ljbffr
