Location: Hilton / Pietermaritzburg A High-Performance Sales Opportunity in the Outdoor Media Sector A premium out-of-home media owner operating high-impact static and digital billboard inventory across KwaZulu-Natal, with national partnerships extending its footprint across South Africa, is entering an exciting growth phase. As part of strengthening its commercial structure and expanding digital inventory, the business is seeking a commercially driven DirectSales Account Manager to grow direct revenue across KZN. This is an expansion role within a structured, performance-led environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new direct client relationships and building a structured, sustainable pipeline with the long-term objective of achieving a monthly revenue target. This role is suited to a strong B2B sales professional who thrives on new business development, values accountability, and operates with commercial discipline. Key Responsibilities New Business Development Identify and secure new direct advertisers across KZN Prospect regional businesses, SMEs, and corporate brands Build relationships with marketing managers, business owners, and brand leads Generate consistent pipeline activity through disciplined outreach Revenue & Pipeline Ownership Carry an individual quarterly revenue target Maintain structured weekly pipeline reporting Track leads, meetings, proposals, pipeline value, and conversion performance Operate with visibility, accountability, and forecast discipline Selling Static & Digital Inventory Sell both traditional billboard and digital advertising formats Clearly articulate digital slot mechanics and campaign value Protect rate integrity and margin Collaborate with operations to ensure seamless campaign delivery Regional Market Development Travel within KZN to strengthen local business networks Identify emerging sectors and new development opportunities Build long-term market presence in key operating towns Ideal Candidate Profile The ideal candidate will possess: 3–5 years proven B2B sales experience Demonstrated success in new business development Confidence in prospecting and building relationships from scratch Structured and disciplined pipeline management skills Strong commercial awareness and numerical ability Excellent presentation and negotiation skills Residence in PMB/Hilton and willingness to travel regionally Experience in media, advertising, print, radio, or digital sales (advantageous) Strong sales fundamentals and a results-driven mindset are key.
